Dr. Knox received his medical degree from Rutgers Medical School. After completing an internship in General Surgery at Indiana University Medical Center and a residency in Otolaryngology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Dr. Knox completed a Fellowship in Neurotology at Baylor College of Medicine. As a member of the faculty of the University of Florida, he served as Assistant Professor at University Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida.
Dr. Knox served on the faculty of the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center as the Director of the Balance Center, Department of Orthinolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery. As former Director of the Balance Center, Dr. Knox has particular expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of dizziness and hearing loss.
Dr. Knox is also fellowship trained in neurotology. Dr. Knox's practice is focused on otologic and neurotologic surgery. In addition to caring for those patients with more common otologic and neurotologic disorders, Dr. Knox has special interests and experience in hearing and balance disorders, motion sickness and vestibular physiology.
